Principal's Message
Welcome to the 2026-2027 School Year!
Dear Cajon Families,
It is with tremendous pride, gratitude, and excitement that I welcome you to another school year at Cajon High School.
Cajon is more than where I work, it is home. My dad graduated from Cajon in 1977, my mom in 1980, and I followed as part of the Class of 1996. In 1994, I met my high school sweetheart right here on this campus, and today I still call SanBernardino home. Cajon has been woven into the story of my family for generations, and I am honored to serve as your principal.
Last year was one of the most successful in our school's history. Together, our students, staff, families, and community earned Cajon's first-ever California Distinguished School recognition. We celebrated the most Citrus Belt League championships in school history, earned Gold Certification for two of our Career Technical Education pathways, and witnessed our Boys Golf team bring home the first CIF championship in school history. These accomplishments are more than awards and banners, they are proof of what is possible when a community believes in its young people and works together toward a common goal.
At Cajon, we believe our students can compete with anyone, anywhere. Every day, I see brilliance in our classrooms, on our stages, on our athletic fields, and in the countless acts of kindness and perseverance demonstrated by our students. Our vision remains clear: to ensure every student graduates Cajon Built, World Ready, prepared not only for college and careers, but for a life of purpose, contribution, and success.
This year, we will continue to focus on academic excellence, meaningful relationships, student belonging, and preparing young people to thrive in a rapidly changing world. Whether your student plans to attend college, enter the workforce, serve in the military, or pursue another path, we are committed to helping them discover their strengths and reach their full potential.
I encourage you to stay connected by visiting our website and following us on social media, where we share important information, celebrate student success, and highlight the incredible things happening across our campus.
If you ever have a question, concern, or idea, please do not hesitate to reach out. My door is always open. You can contact me directly at (909) 881-8120 or christopher.jackson@sbcusd.k12.ca.us.
Thank you for trusting us with your children. I am honored to lead this school, proud to be a Cajon Cowboy, and grateful for the opportunity to work alongside all of you as we continue building a school and community that makes us proud.
Once a Cowboy, Always a Cowboy.
With Cowboy Pride and Gratitude,
