Cadet Corps

The California Cadet Corps was founded in 1911 by Brigadier General Edwin Alexander Forbes, then Adjutant General for the State of California Military Forces. The Cadet Corps program is part of the Youth Programs Directorate of the Joint Forces Headquarters of the California National Guard. The California Cadet Corps in the San Bernardino Unified School District is identified as the 11th Brigade.
