School Site Council Information

Cajon's School Site Council (SSC) is responsible for reviewing and updating Cajon's Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), reviewing and approving the Title I budget, and assisting in the school improvement process. The SSC is a voting body made up of elected members. Elected members consist of 3 parents, 3 students, and 4 teachers, 1 other staff member and the Principal. Elected members serve a two-year term.  There are currently two vacancies for parent representative on the
Cajon SSC.  Nomination forms for School Site Council are sent to all families at the beginning of the school year. Parents of Cajon students have the opportunity to vote for parent representatives annually at Back to School Night.

Cajon's School Site Council meets monthly throughout the year. The meetings are held at 5:30 pm. Light refreshments are served and childcare is provided.
