Parent Groups at CHS

Cajon's School Site Council (SSC) is responsible for reviewing and updating the school LCAP plan, approving the Title I school budget, and assisting in the school improvement process. The SSC is a voting body made up of elected parents, students, and staff.  Parents can nominate themselves or other parent representative by completing nomination forms made available at the beginning of each school year. The African American Advisory Committee (AAPAC), English Language Learners Advisory Committee (ELAC) and Latino Advisory Committee (LAC) are made up of interested parents and staff. These groups provide input to the School Site Council to address the specific needs of their student groups.

Everyone is welcome to attend any and all of the group meetings. Refreshments and childcare are provided at each meeting (when in-person). *Note: In-person SSC, AAPAC, ELAC, and LAC meetings will be held in Room C-24 (Parent Center) unless health mandates once again take effect. However, virtual meetings will also be offered using Google Meet to provide families with hybrid options.  Please visit each parent group page for links to virtual meetings.
